Amplify Native Voices
This project was born when the BYU Arts Partnership saw the need to make an online course content available to the public without having to log in or register for the course.
Background Information
Organization: BYU Arts Partnership
Organization Goal: To help educators implement the arts in schools.
Client: Educators
Audience for the project: Educators and Non-Educators
Problem
Educators and non-educators asked for content in the Amplify Native Voices Online Course. The content was valuable, but I was only accessible via an online course within Canvas.
Solution
To make the content an open source, so anyone could access the content without having to login or register for the course.
Platform: EdTechBooks ebook
My Role
Instructional Designer, Graphic Designer, & eBook Developer
Highlights
- Collaborated with the Instructional Designer who created the original course to maintain the integrity of the content to still match the outcomes of the course.
- We ran into some limitation of the platform and the devices where the content would be accessed. I adapted by changing the content format of the Nearpod to a video, and the Articulate Storyline into a web generated timeline.
